Mona McSharry has finished seventh in the 50-metre breaststroke final at the European Championships in Rome.
The Sligo Olympian touched the wall in 31-point-1-5 seconds after being unable to improve on her time in qualifying for the medal race.
McSharry had also reached the 200-metre breaststroke and 100-metre breaststroke finals over the last week.
