David Attenborough to showcase Ireland in new nature documentary

Ireland is set to be the focus of David Attenborough’s latest documentary.

The 96-year-old is set to present Wild Ilses on BBC One, dedicated to the wildlife in Ireland and the UK.

Having travelled across the world for his work, David says he can assure us that “in Ireland and Britain, as well as astonishing scenery there are extraordinary animal dramas and wildlife spectacles to match anything I have seen on my global travels.”

The Irish red deer stags are said to be a focal point of another episode.

The documentary is set to use 4K technology to showcase the scenic nature of Ireland and the UK in a way that has never been seen before.
