A Letterkenny councillor says as evening traffic jams once again become a commonplace occurrence in the town, there should be a comprehensive public consultation on the issue.
Cllr Gerry McMonagle says frustration is bubbling over once again, and maybe it’s now time for the council to take over one of the empty commercial premises on Letterkenny’s Main Street and speak to the people who use the roads every day.
Cllr McMonagle says every day on Highland Radio, on social media, and in other arenas, suggests are being made and ideas put forward.
He says it’s time the roads section listened to the people………..
