Brandon Kavanagh & Brian Maher on Derry’s win over Finn Harps

Derry City closed the gap to league leaders Shamrock Rovers to two points after they beat Finn Harps 3-0 in the final North West Derby of the season.

Michael Duffy fired Derry in front on 17 minutes before Brandon Kavanagh made it two just after the hour mark.

Jamie McGonigle won a penalty which he then saw saved by James McKeown in the Harps goal but McGonigle was not to be denied and he fired in a volley in injury time as Derry made it six wins in their last six games as well as keeping a clean sheet in each of those games.
