Uk and Ireland agree to ‘find a way forward’ on Protocol issues

The UK and Ireland has agreed to ‘find a way forward’ on issues surrounding the Northern Ireland Protocol.

The Foreign Affairs Minister and the Justice Minister met the Northern Ireland Secretary today, at a British-Irish conference in London.

Both parties agreed to do ‘everything possible’ to re-establish power-sharing at Stormont before the October 28th deadline.

It noted that if this deadline passes without an Executive formed, further elections will have to be held.
