Donegal County Council has announced that its annual “Wainfest” series of events scheduled for next week will now not go ahead following the tragic events of this weekend in Creeslough.
In a statement the council said that:
“In light of the tragedy in Creeslough, the Wainfest Children’s Arts & Book Festival 2022 will not be proceeding this week. It is intended to reschedule the majority of the events in due course. Our deepest sympathies are extended to every person affected by the tragedy.”
