Proceeds from golf legends event to go to Creeslough tragedy

Golfer Paul McGinley says that the proceeds from the Irish Legends golf event held at Rossapenna earlier this year will be going towards those affected by the Creeslough tragedy.

The Rossapenna resort where the tournament was held in August is less than 20 minutes from the village where the tragic incident occurred on Friday.

In a statement on Twitter, McGinley said that proceeds from the event would be “diverted to help those in need in this awful tragedy”.
