Gardaí say that technical examinations at the site of the explosion in Creeslough are likely set to continue for a number of days, as the investigation into the cause of the blast intensifies.
The scene at the service station where the explosion happened currently remains cordoned off as the Garda Technical Bureau continues its investigations.
Traffic diversions at the scene of the incident on the N56 road will continue until the examination is concluded, which may still take a number of days.
