Gardaí say a body of a woman in her thirties has been discovered at a residence in Letterkenny.
The remains were found yesterday, with authorities being alerted just before 6pm on Friday evening.
The woman’s body was later removed to the Mortuary at Letterkenny University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place in due course.
Gardaí say they are investigating all of the circumstances relating to the discovery.
