It’s expected a search will resume in the Twin Towns in the morning after concern was expressed for the safety of a woman.
The Coastguard Rescue 118 helicopter spent time searching the area around the River Finn last evening before being stood down. Gardai have also been searching the area.
A coastguard source indicated to Highland Radio News tonight that the helicopter will be called in again tomorrow (Tuesday) morning if the gardai request it.
