Cuts in car numbers and cattle herds back on the agenda in draft Climate Action Plan

Car numbers and cattle herds could be cut as part of the new Climate Action Plan.

Its back on the agenda for cabinet this week and according to reports is ‘mostly finished’.

According to the Irish Times the ambitious draft plan to cut emissions involves a 20% reduction in the number of cars on the road, a 10% reduction in cattle herds by 2030.
