Households in Northern Ireland will receive their energy support payments from the UK Government from next month.
Delivery of the 600 pounds payment has been stalled as the region has a different energy market from the rest of the UK, and the lack of a devolved government at Stormont meant the UK wide payment couldn’t be administered.
Westminster’s now confirmed a single payment will be made from January.
