An Irishman has died in Thailand after falling from a moving train.
It’s believed the 45-year-old was travelling from Bangkok through western Thailand when the incident occurred yesterday.
It’s not clear yet where the man lived, but he arrived in the country on a tourist visa on St Stephen’s Day.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed it has been notified of an Irish person’s death in the country, and is ready to provide consular assistance.
