53 million litres of water in Donegal have been saved from leakage since 2018. This is due to investment in the county’s water infrastructure in a partnership with Donegal County Council and Uisce Eireann.
Over 150km of old and problematic watermains across the county have been replaced to date, including one leak in Buncrana alone which saved more than 500,000 litres of water a day.
