Police in Northern Ireland have been given more time to question two men, arrested over the shooting of senior detective John Caldwell in Omagh in County Tyrone.
The officer was shot several times at a sports centre ten days ago, and is still critically ill in hospital.
A 33-year-old and a 57-year-old remain in custody.
Six men previously arrested have been released.
