A minutes silence has been held in a meeting of Donegal County Council following the death of a person in an incident in West Donegal earlier today.
Emergency services remain at the scene at this time.
Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Councillor Liam Blaney offered his sympathies to the family concerned.
