Letterkenny Milford Municipal District has been told that the provision of water refill facilities would make a major contribution to the campaign to cut down on the amount of single use plastic bottles in circulation.
Officials confirmed a discussion has already taken place at Oireachtas, and the council is discussing the provision of water refill facilities with Uisce Éireann.
Cllr Jimmy Kavanagh told the meeting a facility at the town park is working well, and he wants to see that replicated elsewhere……………….
