A man arrested by police investigating the attempted murder of Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell has been released.
The 23 year old was detained in Derry yesterday, in relation to the shooting of DCI Caldwell in front of his son at a sports complex in Omagh in February.
He has been questioned under Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Act.
A file will now be submitted to the Public Prosecution Service.
