Parents in direct provision feel their children are being excluded, and unable to participate in sport and other hobbies due to costs.

New research commissioned by the Irish Refugee Council has found those in the system feel the current weekly payment is insufficient.

Their weekly allowance is €38.80 per week for an adult, and €29.80 per child.
