Calls on Health Minister for more funding in pharmacies

There’s a call on the Health Minister Stephen Donnelly to provide more funding for pharmacists.

The Irish Pharmacy Union says one in ten pharmacies are operating at a loss and many of these are in rural areas.

It’s invited Minister Donnelly to its National Conference in Enfield in County Meath today.

IPU spokesperson, Kathy Maher says the Minister must help them expand services as they head into another winter flu surge:
