A Donegal man has landed the first Salmon of 2024 in the Leannan River.
Angling Ireland reports that James Kenny caught a released the first salmon shortly after 1 o’clock in the afternoon on New Years Day.
The fish measured at 69cm in length and weighed around 8lbs.
