Simon Harris announced as new Fine Gael leader

Simon Harris has officially been named as the new leader of Fine Gael.

The Higher Education Minister was the only nomination to replace Leo Varadkar.

He becomes the 12th leader of Fine Gael, and will become the youngest ever Taoiseach on April 9th.
