Putin signs decree to command 150,000 Russians for military service

Vladimir Putin has signed a decree calling up 150,000 Russians for military service.

Although conscripts can’t legally fight outside of the country – some have previously been sent to Ukraine in error.

Earlier this year the Kremlin raised the maximum age that men can be called up, from 27 to 30.
