A third man is being held in custody in after a fight of five or six people broke out in Derry City centre last night.
One member of the public, who had his children in the car, was attacked when he intervened, attempting to break up the incident.
His car was then attacked before he managed to escape.
One woman and two men have been arrested so far as enquiries continue.
