Three people were arrested on suspicion of drink driving in the space of four hours in Derry city last night.
Two of those remained in custody this morning, while the third has been charged to appear in court next month.
Sergeant Montgomery says the message of the PSNI is clear, driving under the influence significantly increases the chances of causing a collision therefore those driving should not any alcohol at all.
