The Alliance Party’s Stephen Farry has announced his resignation as the party’s deputy leader.
He made the announcement to delegates at the Alliance Party Council meeting this weekend.
An executive meeting of the party on Thursday will set the time scale for the election of a new party deputy leader.
Farry says he’s delighted to see the party flourish in recent elections and he remains committed to its vision.
