Calls for fixed term parliaments for Irish Government

There have been calls for fixed term parliaments for the Irish Government.

It comes as the current government insists they plan on going full term to February or March, despite speculation of a November General Election.

Speaking on the Nine til Noon Show, Inishowen Councillor Paul Canning says he would back the introduction as it works for local and European elections.
