Letterkenny-Milford Municipal District today observed a minute’s silence in memory of Letterkenny Town Councillor Liam McCloskey, who was laid to rest today.
Mr. McCloskey was a Fianna Fáil representative who served on the then Urban District Council from 1979 to 1994.
A primary school teacher by profession, he also served a term as the national president of the INTO.
