It’s believed a van fire in Porthall over the weekend was started maliciously.
Gardai and the fire service were tasked to the scene after the Ford Transit van was set on fire at a yard in Glenfad between 11pm and 11:15pm on Saturday night.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who observed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area at the time to come forward.
