There’s further calls for clear guidelines to be issued for the disposing of materials from defective concrete block homes.
Currently there is no direction for homeowners whose homes are remediated as to where to dispose of old blocks, windows and doors.
Donegal County Council and the Waste Regulator are exploring options for the disposal of defective blocks.
