Police from Derry City and Strabane have issued advice to those going out this St. Stephen’s Day.
They have urged those socialising to make sure they have a safe way of getting home.
Do not be tempted to drive after drinking or taking drugs.
And they are telling people to book a taxi, use public transport or travel with a friend who is staying sober.
