The Western Health Trust has issued an urgent staff appeal for Altnagelvin Hospital.
They are asking any available staff to urgently cover shifts at the hospital tonight.
It comes a number of days after the Western Trust warned that if a condition is not critical, patients in the hospital’s ED may have to wait longer due to the number of people presenting.
