The number of new home commencements in Donegal has more than doubled.
Figures released today by the Department of Housing reveal that work started on 1,178 new properties in the county between January and December 2024. That’s up from 498 during the same period the previous year.
Nationally, new home commencements are up 84% to 60,243.
