Derry manager Paddy Tally says new rule is “killing the game”

Derry manager Paddy Tally has expressed his frustration at one of the new rules that has been brought into gaelic football this season after his side’s defeat against Tyrone in the opening round of the Allianz National Football League Division 1.

Tyrone overcame the Oakleaf County 2-13 to 1-09 at Healy Park last night, but Tally is concerned about the “12th man rule” which still allows the goalkeeper to join the attacking play in the opposition half.
