Emergency crews to arrive in Ireland today to help ESB in efforts to restore electricity

Emergency crews from the Netherlands, France, Austria and Finland are due to arrive from today to help the ESB restore electricity supply to homes and businesses across the country.

As of last night there were still 180 thousand premises without power since storm Éowyn last Friday. A significant number of properties in Donegal are still without supply.

It’s hoped the vast majority will have their supply returned before the weekend.
