Mother of late Leona Harper calls further for public inquiry following suspected gas explosion in Mayo

The mother of the late Leona Harper has renewed calls for a statutory public inquiry into the Creeslough explosion.

The tragedy claimed the life of the 14 year old and nine other people.

While the investigation is ongoing, the explosion is largely suspected to have been caused by gas.

The scene of a separate suspected gas explosion in Mayo remained sealed off earlier this morning.
