Business Matters, Ep 232: 3D Construction Printing, plus Local Enterprise Week

In this week’s edition, Chris Ashmore looks at the subject of 3D construction printing, and also the forthcoming Local Enterprise Week.

Recently Ireland’s first 3D printed homes came on stream for Louth County Council in Dundalk. The families are the first residents to live in 3D concrete homes in Ireland and the UK.

Two Donegal natives – Paul Kelly and Richard Mullin originally from Letterkenny and Ballybofey respectively – are founders of a company known as Harcourt Technologies Limited, or HTL.tech  It is strategically partnered with a Danish firm COBOD International – the world leader in 3D construction printing solutions – and is the exclusive 3D Construction Printing Technology distributor in the UK and Ireland.

Paul Kelly, Justin Kinsella and Richard Mullin of Harcourt Technologies Limited, outside the houses in Dundalk, the first in Ireland to be build using 3D printing construction technology.

To find out more about the houses in Dundalk, which have been constructed using 3D Construction Technology (3DCP), and the huge potential for 3D printing for housing construction, Chris spoke with Paul Kelly.
