A driver has been arrested after being detected speeding at 75km/h above the speed limit in Newtowncunningham last night.
The Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were operating a speed check in the area when they caught a vehicle travelling at 175km/h in a 100km/h zone.
The motorist was arrested and charged to court.
