Psychiatric nurses will begin a work to rule over the HSE’s Pay and Numbers Strategy tomorrow.
Their union says it’s in response to the health service’s failure to exempt the sector from proposed cuts in nursing numbers.
The Psychiatric Nurses Association is also unhappy with what it’s described as “unacceptable” recruitment restrictions.
Yesterday, other health unions engaged in a separate dispute over staffing numbers, accused the HSE of not taking their concerns seriously.
