The man convicted of raping and murdering a woman from Buncrana, in India has lodged an appeal against his life sentence.
Danielle McLaughlin was killed in Goa, India, in 2017.
After many delays, Vikat Bhagat was handed down a sentence of life imprisonment in early February.
However, the Irish Daily Star reports that Bhagat has now made an appeal to the Bombay High Court.
