Donegal property prices have fallen by €2,975 in the first quarter of the year.
According to MyHome.ie’s latest survey, Donegal saw the largest percentage increase in supply of properties for sale of any county.
The Property Price Report for Q1, shows that the median asking price for a property in Donegal is now €242,500.
This means prices have risen by €32,525 compared with this time last year.
This 15.5% increase represents the second largest year-on-year hike of any county.
Asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in the county fell by €6,000 over the quarter to €179,000.
This means that prices in the segment have risen by €19,000 compared to this time last year.
Meanwhile, the asking price for a 4-bed semi-detached house in Donegal has risen €3,000 over the quarter to €272,000, up by €37,000 compared to this time last year.
There were 278 properties for sale in Donegal at the end of Q1 – an increase of 14% over the quarter, the largest percentage increase in supply of any county.
The average time for a property to go sale agreed in the county after being placed up for sale now stands at almost four and a half months.
