Inflation rise is hitting those on low fixed incomes – SJI

CSO figures are showing inflation is on the rise for the first time since last July.

Prices have risen by 2 per cent in the year to March with increases in food and drink prices driving the rise.

Inflations’ up from a rate of 1 point 8 per cent in the 12 months to February.
