The Minister for Rural and Community Development has announced €1 million in funding for Men’s Sheds Associations.
Grants of up to €3,000 are available for groups.
The funding will go towards operational costs such as heating, utility and insurance bills.
Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher in welcoming the announcement says the work Men’s Sheds groups carry out is of great benefit particularly in rural areas.
