Renewed calls for LIS funding increase for Donegal

There’s renewed calls for Donegal County Council to seek an increase in Local Improvement Scheme funding.

Councillor Fionán Bradley says additional funding is vital for rural counties like Donegal.

He says many people who have applied to the LIS scheme have been waiting up to 12 years for funding.

Councillor Bradley says the €2.8 million last allocated to the county falls well short of what is needed:
