
The average wait for a driving test has fallen to under 10 weeks, according to Parc Road Safety Group.
Figures show the average learner driver is waiting 9.6 weeks to sit their test.
However, figures vary from county to county, with two Donegal test centres above average.
A learner driver in Mulhuddart Maple in Dublin will wait 2 weeks, while those in Charlestown in Dublin facing waits of up to 17 weeks.
In Cork Wilton has the second highest wait time in the country at 16 weeks, while learner drivers in Mallow wait 13 weeks and Skibbereen 8.
Donegal town has wait times of 10 weeks, with Buncrana slightly higher at 11.
Counties Sligo and Roscommon have the shortest average waiting times at six weeks, while Carlow, Tipperary and Westmeath are averaging an eight week wait.
However, the number of no-shows is on the rise, with 699 recorded in June this year, according to the organisation.
The Road Safety Authority is due to publish official wait times at the end of the week.
