Three rescued from Creeslough lake

Three men were rescued after getting into difficulty in a lake near Creeslough yesterday afternoon.

It’s understood the incident occurred in Lough na Tooey at approximately 3pm, and members of the public raised the alarm.

The Mulroy Coast Guard was dispatched to the scene after Malin Head Coast Guard were notified.

The three men were brought safely to shore by a boat and were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
