A Status Yellow rain warning is in place in Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo this morning.
Met Eireann is forecasting spells of heavy rain with possible thunderstorms, with the alert in effect until 10am.
It’s also warning of the possibility of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
