Man arrested in connection with Creeslough tragedy released without charge

A man in his 40s, arrested by Gardaí investigating the Creeslough disaster, has been released without charge.

He was detained yesterday for alleged offences contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act and questioned at a Garda station in Dublin.

A file will now be prepared for the DPP and Gardaí say the investigation is continuing.

10 people died in the explosion at a filling station in the County Donegal village in October 2022.
