A yellow rain warning has been issued for tomorrow.
The warning covers Donegal, Cavan, Longford and the provinces of Connaught and Munster.
Met Eireann says people should expect widespread rain, heavy at times, with the possibility of localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions and blocked drains.
The alert comes into effect at 6 o’clock tomorrow morning, and will be valid until 8pm.
