
Derry City defeated Shamrock Rovers 2-1 at the Ryan McBride Brandywell this evening to secure their place in European football for next season.
Rovers, who will likely still win the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division title, have struggled in recent weeks and Derry boss Tiernan Lynch admits he has “regrets” that his side haven’t put enough pressure on the Dublin side.
